Forest Park is a 2D top-down casual time managing game. The game is set in a park that was used to be populated by trees all over the place but none are left at the start of the game. The main gameplay loop is focused around reforesting this park.

Forest Park can be considered a tree planting simulation game because of the detailed process of the tree development. The development process covers everything from digging a hole until a fully-grown tree. The simulation is not meant to realistically imitate actual tree development. It captures core steps of tree planting in a gamified way and simplified way.

It is not a cozy game like Stardew Valley because the player is under time pressure to plant as many trees as he can.
